THE METHOD
The Hot Water Extraction Method
Hot water extraction — sometimes called “steam cleaning” — is the deep-clean method we use when carpet is heavily soiled, stained, or hasn’t been professionally cleaned in years. Truck-mounted equipment injects 200°F+ water and cleaning solution deep into the carpet fibers, then extracts it along with the soil. It’s the most thorough carpet cleaning method available, but it puts more moisture into the carpet — which means longer dry times (usually 4-8 hours).
